Study on Temporal and Spatial Characteristics of Fuzhou Built-Up Area Based on Remote Sensing Data of Nighttime Light

It is of great significance to grasp the spatio-temporal characteristics and expansion mechanism urban built-up areas for formulating development strategy. This paper takes area Fuzhou as study area, uses multi-temporal Landsat images remote sensing data nighttime light (NTL) main sources, extracts NTL with a higher spatial resolution comparison method. discusses trends from 2000 2021 perspectives temporal evolution morphology analyzes relationship between population factors, economic natural conditions, policy expansion. The results show that urbanization level gradually improving, compounded index (CNLI) increases 0.0105 in 0.0635 2021. trend speed intensity consistent, showing changing first fast then slow, accelerating slowing down. direction presents “expanding eastward, advancing southward expanding westward”, form tends be irregular, migration range center gravity not significant. Population are positively correlated closely related, conditions guidance affect mode area. above indicate overall shows an upward trend, which consistent planned Fuzhou.
